As we grow up we tend to get praised for some aspects of who we are while other traits get ignored. This can vary according to the values of the family that brought us up and we're often rewarded for traits that are similar to those of the people around us.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this of course, it's our natural instinct as parents to get excited when our kids are good at the things we love, but wouldn't it be interesting to discover what hidden traits and talents you have that might have been left by the wayside in favour of the things that earned more praise?
